The 30-30 Repeater is a lever action rifle introduced in Season 8 that utilizes Heavy Rounds.

It has a unique charge mechanic allowing the weapon to do more damage (up to 36% more) by aiming down sights for longer without firing. It can also be simply fired without charging at a faster fire rate.

Pros and Cons

Pros

• Strong medium-range potential.
• Low recoil.
• Charged shots will deal up to 36% more damage than normal.
• Decently fast fire rate.
• Ability to reload bullets mid-fight, one at a time, without emptying the mag.
• Can open doors by shooting the handle.

Cons

• Aiming down sights required for charged shots, which reduces the fire rate.
• Rather slow reload speed (less than 3 bullets/second).
• 1.75× headshot multiplier.
• At closer distances, easily outclassed by shotguns and SMGs.
• At longer distances, the slow bullet traveling speed makes it harder to hit enemies.
• Low mag size without an Extended Heavy Mag.

Patch notes 

March 09, 2021 Patch

• Fully kitted 30-30 Repeater optics can now be removed and replaced with any other compatible one.
• Dropping and picking it up again will no longer cause it to be fully reloaded.
• Will now have spread deviation when ADS firing and jumping.

February 02, 2021 Patch

• Introduced.
• Added to the loot table of fully kitted weapons for Season 8.

Trivia

• The name is a reference to the .30-30 Winchester cartridge used by the Winchester Model 1894 rifle, on which the gun's design is based.
• The 30-30 Repeater is one of the only two weapons in the game to reload one bullet at a time, the other one being the Mastiff Shotgun.
• Fuse has a unique "spinning" animation when he picks up a 30-30 Repeater, other Legends will just chamber the first bullet.
• The 30-30 Repeater is one of two assault rifles to reduce ADS speed to sniper levels, the other being the G7 Scout. This was done to reinforce the idea that these two weapons are marksman rifles, not assault rifles.
