Background

Cherisse Che is a rich and powerful individual with connections to the Syndicate, and she and her husband Darion Che are the owners of military robotics company Chevrex Inc. War profiteers from the Frontier War and presumably also the Outlands Civil War, they appear as kind and loving while in public, but are actually cold and cruel, even to their only daughter Ajay, who left home in disgust after finding out about their war profiteering.

Family Business

In 2729, Ajay and Octavio Silva broke into a Silva Pharmaceuticals facility, but were caught by the security cameras and drones. Che was informed of this by Eduardo Silva.

Silva and Che tracked the two down to a field hospital run by the Frontier Corps, intending to kill all of its patients as a lesson to the two's errant children. However, this was interrupted by a livestream by Octavio, and the two departed to save face.

Family Portrait

After a trip to meet with Sandringham Kelly on Salvo, Cherisse and Darion hosted a charity event in Malta, more for show than for a cause. When Ajay approached them, the two forced the appearance of a happy family reunion, only to be interrupted by an attack by Creighton Sawtelle. The terrorist demanded that the Ches relay his demands to relinquish Psamathe to the Mercenary Syndicate. After Ajay and the other legends fight off his attack, Darion gives her the antique MRVN battery she was looking for.

When Eduardo Silva was elected head of the Syndicate, he appointed Cherisse as President of the Syndicate Corps (formerly the Frontier Corps).
