Extended Mag

Extended Mags are a group of attachments that increase the magazine capacity of most weapons. Each ammo type has its own Extended Mag, except Shotgun Shells, which instead has the Shotgun Bolt to bolster fire rate.

Tiers[ | ]

Level 1: small capacity increase.
Level 2: medium capacity increase.
Level 3: highest capacity increase.
Level 4: same as Level 3, but automatically reloads stowed weapons after 5 seconds.

Shotgun Bolt[ | ]

Unlike all other magazines, the Shotgun Bolt does not affect magazine size. Instead, it boosts the fire rate of shotguns.

For the Peacekeeper, it instead shortens the time to rechamber.

Rather than passively reloading the whole magazine, the Level 4 Shotgun Bolt automatically reloads one shot at a time while sliding.

Trivia[ | ]

The Extended Light Mag's icon and model are stylized after the R-301 Carbine and Longbow DMR magazines. Similarly, the Extended Heavy Mag's icon and model are stylized after the VK-47 Flatline magazine, and the Extended Energy Mag's icon and model are stylized after the L-STAR's original Season 2 magazine.

February 14, 2023 Patch

Introduced Level 4 Shotgun Bolts.

August 09, 2022 Patch

The M600 Spitfire now utilizes Extended Light Mags.
The Wingman now utilizes Extended Sniper Mags.

August 03, 2021 Patch

The reload speed boost provided by Extended Mags is now tied to Stocks.
Extended Energy Mags can now be equipped to the L-STAR EMG.
Reduced fire rate increase provided by Shotgun Bolts for the EVA-8 Auto:
- Shotgun Bolt from 15% to 10%
- Shotgun Bolt from 25% to 15%
- Shotgun Bolt from 35% to 20%.
