Extended Mag

Extended Mags are a group of attachments that increase the magazine capacity of most weapons. Except for shotguns, each ammo type includes an Extended Mag, split between Extended Light Mags, Extended Heavy Mags, Extended Energy Mags, and Extended Sniper Mags.

Tiers

• Level 1: small capacity increase.
• Level 2: medium capacity increase, 5% faster reload (8% for Extended Heavy Mags).
• Level 3: highest capacity increase, 10% faster reload (13% for Extended Heavy Mags).
• Level 4: same as Level 3, but automatically reloads stowed weapons after 5 seconds.

Tips

• As weapons do not automatically increase their mag size whenever an Extended Mag is equipped, one must remember to reload their weapon to reach its new max capacity, unless using a Level 4 Extended Mag.
  • It might still be better to reload manually than waiting for the Level 4 Extended Mag to reload if enemies are nearby.

Trivia

• The Extended Light Mag's icon and model are stylized after the R-301 Carbine and Longbow DMR magazines. Similarly, the Extended Heavy Mag's icon and model are stylized after the VK-47 Flatline magazine, and the Extended Energy Mag's icon and model are stylized after the Sentinel's charger.
