Finisher

Finishers (also known as Executions) are short animations that can be performed on downed enemies to finish them off, by pressing the interact/pickup button (default: E / / / ).

Each finisher has their own duration, most of them taking around 4.5 – 6.5 seconds. When you are finishing someone, the target is invulnerable to any damage from other players or The Ring, but you are vulnerable and cannot take any actions other than canceling the finisher. Taking gunfire or being downed will cancel the finisher. Successfully performing a finisher refills your Body Shield at the end.

Alternative finishers can be unlocked via Apex Packs, or purchased with 1,200. Special finishers can also be used when Tier 3 of a Prestige Skin is equipped.

• Horizon: The All Charged Up finisher now has more frames, from 141 (4.21 seconds) to 180 (6.0 seconds).

• Rampart: Fixed an issue with the No Mercy finisher spamming "Boom" to the entire server.

August 20, 2020 Patch

• Prevented Rampart's "Boom" finisher line from playing across the map.

• Players will now receive a prompt allowing them to cancel Finishers in progress.
• Added Mirage's Strike a Pose finisher.

October 01, 2019 Patch

• All legends will now fully restore their shields upon completing a finisher. This was previously the perk for the Level 4 Body Shield.

• Fixed issue with players not always hearing selected quip dialogue when performing a finisher or being executed.
• Wraith - Fixed issue where in some rare cases, performing a finisher while down player is entering a Wraith Portal.
