Golden R-301 Carbine

A fully kitted Legendary R-301 Carbine.

Fully kitted weapons, or fully-kitted weapons, are weapons equipped with all their attachments; those attachments cannot be removed, except for the optic. If the weapon is dropped, the optic still stays on the weapon. There is no performance difference between a fully kitted weapon and a weapon that has been fully kitted manually with the same attachments.

Fully kitted weapons are tiered between Common (), Rare (★★), epic (★★★), and Legendary (★★★★) rarities, with both the rarity and the number of the stars marking the level of the attachments (except the optics) a weapon has.

In Battle Royale, all fully kitted weapons are Legendary. Five weapons are selected each Season to be fully kitted weapons, and have a 79% chance to spawn in Hot Zones marked on any map, even if only one can spawn in a given Hot Zone. They can also spawn in map-specific loot sources such as gold loot ticks (1% chance), Flyers carrying gold death boxes (37.5% chance), gold cargo bots (1% chance) and loot MRVNs after giving them their missing arm (1% chance). The Research Basin, the central part of Elysium, and the underground part of Velvet Oasis on Olympus also have a high chance of spawning a fully kitted weapon.

In Arenas Arenas, every weapon starts as a Common "fully kitted" weapon despite either not having any attachment or only having their optics, and can be upgraded to an actual fully kitted weapon in order from Common (with attachments) to Rare to epic. In addition, Rare, epic, and Legendary fully kitted weapons spawn in every Care Package, and the rarity of the weapons increase with the rounds.

Trivia

  • While the Level 4 Barrel Stabilizer lvl4 Barrel Stabilizer has been removed from the loot pool, it still exists on Legendary fully kitted weapons.
  • Although fully kitted versions of the L-STAR EMG have appeared in alternative gamemodes, the Legendary version has never appeared as a seasonal fully kitted weapon in Battle Royale.
  • Before Season 6 Season 6, Supply Drop Weapons were golden just like fully kitted weapons. The term "gold weapon" could refer to either, and they both spawned in Gold Rush Duos, a game mode with only gold weapons. Respawn later upgraded the rarity of Supply Drop Weapons from Legendary to Mythic to differentiate the two, and now "gold weapon" is only used for fully kitted weapons.
  • On April 1st, 2020, only fully kitted versions of Mozambique Shotguns could spawn for a day only instead of their regular versions. Their magazine was increased from 3 to 9, the firing rate was twice as fast as when equipped with a Level 3 Shotgun Bolt Shotgun Bolt, their damage was increased from 15×3 to 20×3, and Hammerpoint Rounds Hammerpoint Rounds were made unavailable for them.
    • It returned the next year with a damage and fire rate reduction.
  • On April 1st, 2021, alongside fully kitted Mozambique Shotguns, fully kitted P2020s also appeared replacing the normal ones with their mag size increased from 18 to 25.
  • During the Locked and Loaded Takeover, Season 8 Season 8 fully kitted weapons also spawned in neutral Care Packages along with normal Supply Drop Weapons.
