Genesis was a Collection Event for Season 9 of Apex Legends that ran from June 29, 2021 to July 13, 2021.

Legacy Maps[]

Legacy Maps is a takeover of the normal Play Apex game mode, where the normal Season 9 maps in rotation (Olympus MU1 and World's Edge MU2) are replaced with the original incarnations of Kings Canyon and World's Edge.

Additionally, Skull Town is an Arenas map for the duration of the event, and unlike the other maps, it stays for 60 minutes at a time.

Genesis Collection[]

The Genesis Collection is a set of 24 cosmetics exclusive to the event. The collection cosmetics can be obtained by:

Purchasing event-exclusive Genesis packs for 700 which will give out one collection cosmetic and two cosmetics from the normal loot table.
Unlocking using 2,400 for Legendary items and 800 for Epic items.
By direct purchase from the Store: 1,800 for Legendary items and 1,000 for Epics.

Completion of the Genesis Collection allowed the player to unlock Revenant's Heirloom Set before it is included in the normal Apex Packs loot table.
