The Lore of the Apex universe is connected to the larger Titanfall universe.

It is set a few years after the end of the Frontier War, the conflict featured heavily in both Titanfall and Titanfall 2.

Background

“

The Frontier War is over. After decades of conflict between the IMC and the militia founded to fight them, the region of space known as the Frontier can finally see peace. But liberation can come at a cost: the Frontier worlds were left barren by the war, and promised aid dwindled to nothing. With no way to support themselves, those who remained had no choice but to leave their homes. The brave relocated to the Outlands. A remote cluster of planets on the fringes of the Frontier, the Outlands are untouched by war and teeming with resources and opportunity. But life is cheap here, and danger lurks around every corner. Its pioneers, explorers, and outlaws used to spend their lives locked in an endless power struggle – now, they settle their differences in the Apex Games, a bloodsport where Legends from all corners of the Frontier compete for money, fame, and glory.

Summary

Apex Legends and Apex Legends Mobile are focused on the stories of the various Legends that participate in the Apex Games, a highly popular, televised blood sport that is owned by the mysterious Mercenary Syndicate and managed by their Apex Games Commission headed by Kuben Blisk.

The Apex Games were initially hosted on Kings Canyon, an island located on the planet Solace. Construction of the arena for the games commenced some time in 2727 and was finished a year after, after which time the games presumably started. The arena at Kings Canyon has been used for 124 seasons, until an attack on the island's Repulsor Tower by Crypto allowed the entry of wildlife, resulting in a devastated arena. The match, then in-progress, was halted and the legends evacuated. The Syndicate suspended the games after the attack and proceeded to make various modifications to the arena in order to increase viewership and contain the wildlife that invaded the island. Various disturbances were reported within the arena, following the resumption of the games, which forced the Syndicate to relocate the games to World's Edge, another arena on the planet Talos.

Following this move, a sponsorship was struck up with the "new" Hammond Robotics, one of the companies that used to make up the now-defunct IMC. This coincided with the entry of Forge, a legend sponsored by Hammond Robotics and the introduction of the Planetary Harvester to World's Edge. Before his entry into the games, however, he was assassinated by Revenant. This, alongside the various reported break-ins on Hammond facilities and the fact that Revenant has a vendetta against both the Syndicate and Hammond, Jacob Young and Cheryl Amacci found a way to contain the simulacrum by allowing him to join the games.

Season 5: The Broken Ghost

After some time, the games eventually returned to Kings Canyon, but an underground explosion triggered by Loba Andrade, a highly-skilled thief masquerading as a high-society socialite, destroyed a significant part of the island, including Skulltown and Thunderdome. Bangalore hurriedly apprehended Loba, but Syndicate PR Head, Jacob Young, alongside Hammond Robotics Legal Head, Cheryl Amacci, arrived and afterwards announced Loba as the newest Apex Legend. This gave her an opportunity to begin her quest for The Broken Ghost. More specifically, for the pieces of it scattered across the Shadowfall version of Kings Canyon. She mentioned that Revenant cannot find out about their plans. However, Crypto's drone was hacked by Revenant. Accusations of the supposed mole were thrown back and forth between Crypto and Caustic ending with the "A. Smartypants" taking the blame as the whistleblower. As the real mole was able to avoid blame and keep trust with the group from the earlier incident, Gibraltar confronted the real traitor, Caustic, revealing the reason for him to lie and deceive the group, is that he has "skeletons best kept buried" — but most importantly, to keep Wattson away from Crypto. Meanwhile, Revenant and Loba came to an understanding, with him despising his unending existence; and her wanting to kill him. Revenant expressed his intention of wanting to help Loba find his "source code", the only organic part of his remaining, so she can kill him. Together, the Legends assembled all nine pieces, revealed to be the head of the Frontier War-era simulacrum Ash, a pilot that used to work for the Apex Predators.

Eventually, Loba found Revenant's source code in an underground vault on the planet Olympus. However, instead of terminating it or giving it to Revenant, she sent it through a phase runner, implied to take it to Gridiron, as a way to take away what Revenant wants, which is his death. Learning this, Revenant swore revenge, and plans to take away what Loba may eventually love with all her heart, even if it means waiting for it to come.

Meanwhile, Crypto decided to let Wattson know about his real identity, which helped to mend their relationship.

Season 6: The First Ship

After Ash's head was recovered and placed onto her body, she was delivered to Hammond Robotics, who after extracting some code from her memory banks, released her. She was soon discovered by Pathfinder in a dumpster, without any knowledge except for her name. Pathfinder takes her to the warehouse he woke up in and they live together in Solace City. Eventually, a visit from Rampart accidentally triggers Ash's memories, which then alerts the attention of Kuben Blisk. After all the Legends leave and Ash is alone, Blisk comes to the warehouse. Ash prepares to fight but Blisk explains he was not trying to kill her. He then tells her an old friend of hers is back. Ash runs off with Blisk and leaves a note behind for Pathfinder, thanking him for his help.

Overtime

On a Saturday in 2733, an Apex Games award ceremony took place. Crypto and Mirage, who placed last, went to meet a developer of high-end tech who is supposed to have information that Crypto wants. As it turns out, the developer wants protection from Crypto, and brought along a metal briefcase as a collateral. Crypto soon found out the developer works for Boss Willis, a mobster-turned syndicate official. Suddenly, Revenant enters the scene and attempts to stab the Developer, but due to Mirage's intervention, hooks onto the metal briefcase instead. When pressed by Mirage, Revenant reveals that the Syndicate hired him to kill the developer. A fight quickly breaks out between the three Legends, before Crypto, Mirage, and the informant escape with the briefcase, before Revenant catches up to them and capture Crypto. The simulacrum offers Mirage to trade Crypto for the briefcase, but Mirage chooses to escape with the briefcase, leaving Revenant to drag Crypto toward Willis' Dropship that landed nearby. Crypto offers to pay triple of what Willis offer, but Rev replies Crypto will not be able to beat what Willis promised to him — in exchange for the delivery, Willis will de-activate the source code that connects his consciousness to Rev's body, allowing him to die.

Meanwhile, Wraith reveals herself to Mirage. Believing the metal briefcase is related to Crypto's missing sister, Mirage opens the briefcase, which reveals it is an encrypted comm unit. Mirage tried to rescue Crypto, but the duo found themselves surrounded by Quentin Willis and his man. Confronting Crypto, Willis reveals he knows Crypto is actually Tae Joon Park, before inquiring about Mila, in which Crypto snapped back about how Willis is trying to manipulate the Apex Games. Willis decrypts the communications unit and activates it, and its screen surprisingly reveals Mila Alexander on the other end. As Willis explained, the comm unit - specifically the comm channel to Mila - is what the developer believed to be the only way to secure protection from Crypto. Cutting the connection, Willis takes both Mirage and Legend onto his dropship and flies it high above the sky. He is about to defenestrate both Mirage and Crypto, but Wraith teleported in and started a fight with Willis and his goons. The dropship is damaged by the fight; while Crypto and Mirage escape through Wraith's dimensional rift, Willis crash lands the dropship onto a local hospital that Lifeline, Octane, Gibaltar, and a few other Legends were in, leveling it. Acting quickly, the Legends in the hospital utilize their abilities to protect and rescue those within the Hospital.

Bloodhound eventually digs up Willis from the rubble, who taunts back at the Legends and the surrounding witnesses, even when his plot to fix the Games was revealed. He begs Revenant for assistance, but is impaled by the simulacrum instead, who reminded Willis that he has promised death. Rev then finds the comm unit and handed it back to Crypto, but it was heavily damaged; Crypto resolves to repair the comm unit to find his sister. Bangalore, who discovered a jacket that belongs to a patient that had visited the hospital contains an embroidery that marks its ownership to Jackson, feels renew in her search for her brother.

Season 7: Family Portrait

The games soon expanded to Olympus, and using the occasional offtime, Lifeline, Gibraltar, and Octane tried to boot up a century-old MRVN to cheer Pathfinder up; to do that, they need to contact Darion Che, Lifeline's father. Thus, the four of them went to a Chevrex charity event, in which Lifeline have an uneasy catch up with her family while Gibraltar had his own meeting with his ex-boyfriend, Nik. The gala was interrupted by a group of mercenaries who are trying to gain control of Psamathe from the Syndicate, but was resolved with the help of the Legends. Afterwards, Darion gives Lifeline the battery they asked for. Unbeknownst to the Legends (except Octane and a recording D.O.C. drone), the mercenaries were actually hired by Eduardo Silva, Octane's father.

The battery eventually restore the old MRVN's functionality, providing enough clue for Pathfinder to find out not just about the backstories of the Legends, but also how his creation is tied to the Outland Energy Crisis and the project that stopped it. Specifically, he was created by the Project Iris' scientists in the Year 2658 to refine Branthium, but on the day they managed to refined their first batch, the group was betrayed by one of their own in an attempt to steal Branthium for some unknown party. In order to ensure Branthium were delivered to everyone in Outlands while keeping it out of the hands of the unknown party, the scientists triggered the Phase Runner self-destruct sequence, leading to the death of his creators, the appearance of Branthium through out the Outlands, and Pathfinder on Solace, disabled and without the memory of his past.

Season 8: Armageddon

As Outlands stepped into 2734, the Syndicate managed to negotiate with the new warlord of Salvo, bringing it into Syndicate Space; Salvo also sent their representative, Fuse, into Apex Games. However, During Fuse's welcoming ceremony, Maggie hacked into Fuse's ship and caused it to fire on the crowd, as well as destroyed the northern mountain range of Kings Canyon, before publicly demanded the Legends bring her Fuse's other arm. Fuse, Lifeline, and Bloodhound went to confront her. After refusing Maggie's request to return to Salvo and left her hideout, Maggie hijacked control of the Games and caused Ring Flares and numerous quirks throughout the matches. Having enough, Fuse tried to confront her, but she managed to shoot him down while he was on his way. Confronting each other on the ground, Fuse reaffirmed his decision to stay in Apex Games, before both him and Maggie launched their attacks at each other, resulting in an explosion that sent both dangling above the streets of a city. Disappointed with her loss in both her fight and her friend, Maggie let go and disappeared.

Season 9:The Legacy Antigen

After the truth of Pathfinder's involvement in saving Outlands Energy Crisis was discovered, the Syndicate decided to host an dedication ceremony, with a statue dedicated to him on the city of Olympus, and invited the public onto the floating city. However, without warning, Olympus' city management system shifted multiple sectors to allow a fleet of 15 ships to dock, and soon, genetically mutated Medusa Vines broke through from its lead ship and overtook the floating city and let loose a deadly allergen that will kill the infected within 3 days. Investigation indicated that all serial numbers and markings were removed, and that the cure requires synthesizing the enzyme from Carthage spiders that neutralize the agatoxin. In order to do that, half of the Legends went to Gaea to retrieve the Carthage spiders, while the rest stayed to control the Vine's growth. However, Lifeline eventually discovered that it was Eduardo Silva who sent the Icarus Fleet, along with being the one behind the attack on Chevrex charity event that took place during "Family Portrait". When she pursued Duardo, he got her to back off by exposing it was Octane who removed the markings of Silva from the Icarus fleet. Eventually, after some difficulties, the legends managed to return with the spiders and synthesize the cure, which is then mass produced by Duardo's company; the fleet, except the Icarus, is sent to a Blackhole. Nonetheless, Silva's marking somehow "mysteriously reappeared" on the Icarus fleet, which caused Duardo to be questioned by the media; in turn, he used both the Museum Hostage Crisis, Salvonian Gunship incident, and the Medusa Vines to question the ability of Syndicate to govern the Outlands, and suggested that perhaps Syndicate can use a new leadership...

Season 10: Old Ways, New Dawn

The Planet Harvester on Talos finally reached a breaking point and caused the lava fissure to extend further, creating ecological collapse. As such, Hammond Robotics installed the Lava Siphon and Climatizer to regulate Talos's natural volatility. In truth, however, the Climatizer cools the air, while the Lava Siphon heats it back up, which will cause further catastrophe to the planet. With the Harvester shut down and overtaken by Bloodhound's clan, they wish to set their sights on Hammond for devastating their home. However, Bloodhound, who participated in the Apex Games while all these goes on, feels immense guilt and responsibility for the state of things in their home and wish to know why they would've allowed such a thing to happen.

During one of the games, they discovered the blood trail of a dying Prowler near the Lava Siphon, and intended to give it a painless death. However, through out their quest, a White Raven appear, and seemingly guide them to places that affect their life greatly - the place where their uncle exiled them; the Epicenter, where their parents died; a dead campfire, similar to the one they shared with their lover Boone. All the while, it forced Bloodhound to confront their responsibility upon those deaths and their intention of participating the Apex Games. It was eventually revealed that the White Raven is Bloodhound's guilt, of how they failed their parents, Boone, their people, their home, and even to themselves. After forcefully confronting their own guilt, Bloodhound came to terms with all these, and consoled the dying prowler in its final breaths.

Season 11: Trouble in Paradise

In her attempt to find more about her son's fate, Horizon uses the Olympus Access Codes on Ash, inadvertently awakening the human counsciness of the woman who left her stranded on a Black Hole, Leigh. After Ash explains the difference between her simulacrum self and her human self, Horizon demanded her to spill out about Newton's fate, but Ash refused, leaving Horizon on her own and joining the Apex Games as a way to transcend her human limits.

During an Apex match on Olympus, a talk between Pathfinder and Gibraltar about Wattson's ''treasure hunt'' on Storm Point gave Ash a clue on trying to find pieces of her past. Later on, during a match on Storm Point, Horizon was distracted over the fact she helped awaken her old enemy while Wattson and Crypto try to find clues on the computers from the abandoned IMC facilities. During that time, Ash ambushes Crypto and Wattson, asking for information contained on old IMC files.

That information would lead Ash to one defunct-IMC facility in one of Gaea's islands. She battled dozens of discarded Spectres with ease. She found one container with the name Paquette with the sword that was used to kill her when she was human. However, Horizon caught up to Ash, still demanding to tell her about her son's fate. Leigh interfered and took control of Ash's simulacrum body, trying to tell Horizon that her son didn't die during the Olympus rift incident. While Horizon didn't believe her, Ash would take control again and snared the scientist. She broke the sword that was used to kill her in an attempt to transcend her human limits, but that failed. Then she tried to take a shot against Horizon while she was struggling, but missed. When Ash recalled the name Paquette, she saw the name of Wattson in a container unit and headed toward her next target.

While Wattson was trying to take apart the Lightning Rod, Ash caught up to her and told her about how she tried to transcend her human limits by destroying the sword that her Grandmother used to kill her many decades back. But it wasn't enough and Leigh still persisted inside her head. Thus, she tried to end Wattson's life by pushing her off the cliff, only for Wattson to fall into the water. Puzzled, Wattson wished to find out why Ash tried to kill her and what her family name has to do with it.

Later on, Ash found Crypto and asks him about the partnership that he tried to establish with her. When he clarified he wishes to find information that the Syndicate has, Ash agreed to help him out, seeing him as potential pupil under her wing.

Season 12: The Perfect Son

As it turns out, Mad Maggie managed to survive over her fall in Solace, and been causing riots across Syndicate Spaces before being captured and sentenced to fight in Apex Games until she dies. After her first match in Olympus, Lifeline, Mad Maggie, and Octane discussed about Duardo Silva's involvement in the sabotage of the floating city. They would find out that Duardo was using the incident to his advantage against the Syndicate in hopes of taking power. The trio discussed what to about Duardo, then Octane suggested sneaking into his father's mansion and recover his plans. Despite protests from Lifeline and Maggie, they'd agree to let him have spy on his dad's place.

Later on, Octane sneaked into his dad's mansion and tried to open the safe. When Duardo caught him, he offered a proposal to his son in exchange for Octane to get anything he wanted. Octane challenged his dad about his demands and Duardo agreed with them, making the daredevil accepted his proposal and get in-the-know of Duardo's machinations. At the behest of his father , Octane sneaked into the Frontier Corps server room to gain access to Frontier Corp's database. The daredevil inserted a thumb drive into the servers, and within moments, Octane noticed his dad was transferring money to the Frontier Corps. When questioned, Duardo told him that there are more ways to help the Outlands, and sending money to the Frontier Corps would be one way to help them. With his objective complete, Duardo urged his son to return to him to discuss further plans. Octane was confused whether his dad loved him, but he still convinced himself all these is part of his mission of ruining his father's plans.

While dealing with local wildlife in Storm Point, Lifeline shared her misgivings about Octane and her friendship with him. Fuse felt that Octane need some time for himself. Maggie disagreed, as she felt that friendships can turn sour, and asserted that the medic would be better off without Octane. This put Maggie and Fuse into an intense argument, distracting them from more wildlife to kill. Suddenly, Lifeline received an urgent message from her phone, and left the two Salvonians behind to fend for themselves.

Lifeline would later bump into Octane, discussing about the money transfer that was sent to the Frontier Corps. When she found out that the money donation was from Duardo, she lashes out at Octane, believing that Duardo had ulterior motives for this action. Lifeline tagged along with Octane into Duardo's mansion. While Lifeline's D.O.C hacked into the safe, Octane was told to keeps guard, but he instead investigated his father's personal computer. As Octane looked into his father's personal files, Lifeline found a death certificate inside the safe — and it turns out that the death certificate was for Eduardo Silva, meaning the real Eduardo Silva had been dead for years, and the man claiming to be him was an imposter.

Octane, however, was distracted by a video of Eduardo at an awards ceremony, extolling about his family and how much he loved his son. With the revelations at hand, Octane said no and tried to stand up for himself. When Lifeline was confused, Octane stated his dad should be given a chance to explain, his mind still on the personal recording. Lifeline protested, given how Duardo mistreated Octane all these years, as well as his sinister agenda towards the Outlands. Despite Octane wanting to stop his dad, part of him agreed with Duardo's idea of alternative ways to help the Outlands. Lifeline rejected the idea when she learned that Duardo placed such idea into Octane, and claim Octane was being played for a fool.

The two started to argue. Octane was tired of being treated as stupid by his friend, in which Lifeline retorted by recalling she frequently had to rescue him from certain death whenever he rushed into battle without thinking. While Octane pleaded to Lifeline to give his dad a chance, Lifeline was resolute in her mission to stop Duardo's plans of controlling Outlands. She also told Octane that she would've saved the Outlands by now if she didn't waste time playing nurse for him, which caused Octane to fire back, claiming she was jealous that Duardo actually loved him. This upseted Lifeline, and seeing her expression, Octane tries to apologize. However, Lifeline wouldn't hear it, and instead took the death certificate in order to use it as evidence to the Outlands against Duardo. Octane tusseled the certificate from her and burned it, which angered Lifeline. She claimed such act also burnt their friendship and it was now over, but Octane retorted that it was over long before that.

Some time later, Duardo Silva would win in his bid for Syndicate leadership. Octane was at his side during his ''father's'' coronation speech. During the speech, Duardo declared that the Outlands would be led by one man with singular vision. And in his bid for power, he declared his takeover of the "Frontier Corps", renaming it to the more militaristic "Syndicate Corps".

This surprises Octane, and after the speech, confronted his ''father'' about this act. Duardo then stated that the newly dubbed Syndicate Corps would be led by Cherisse Che, Lifeline's mother, as its president. Feeling betrayed, Octane pressed his ''father'' about the discovery of Eduardo's death certificate within the safe, and demands the truth. "Duardo" would come clean and tells him that his real name is Torres. Torres spoke fondly of the real Eduardo, his son, and lamented the fact he couldn't save him with the resources from Silva Pharmaceuticals. Thus, he took over the identity of his dead son. He then explained to Octane that he used a variation of stim that allows him to keep his middle-aged appearance, before revealing to Octane that he was his grandfather. Both Torres and a defeated Octane gave a toast to their family.

Sometime later on Olympus, Lifeline lamented losing the Outlands to Silva, losing the Frontier Corps to her mother, and losing her friend Octane. With nowhere else to go, She paid a visit to Mad Maggie in her prison cell to make a deal with the Salvonian. The Salvonian warlord, in a mocking tone, asked how exactly would Lifeline plan to save the Outlands, in which the younger legend reply by burning it down.

The Williams Send-Off

Ever since Bangalore talks with Wraith, she been filled with anxiety. To clear her head, Bangalore goes to the firing range. While shooting at targets with G7 Scout, she recalls the day she made a partnership with Wraith in order to help find Jackson's whereabouts. After completing her shooting section, she started to recall and process her conversation with Wraith: Through her contact in Solace city, Wraith had found Jackson's dog-tags as well as five-year old autopsy records that matches his body, age, height, and weight from a morgue in Solace. When Bangalore demanded to see the body, she finds out that Solace's morgues bury corpses after two weeks if not identified. In addition, the records of the burial site was lost in a fire three years ago. Bangalore couldn't help herself but weep in despair.

As a way to cope with the loss of her brother, Bangalore goes to the range again to beat Jackson's record in their own bow challenge. Anita would reminisce the day she lost her brother when Hestia 2's hull were torn apart and seeing Jackson falling down. After she beats his record, she says goodbye and also recalls arguing with Jackson as if he's forgetting his family while living in the Outlands.

With nothing letting her stay in the Outlands, Bangalore goes to the range once more distracted by her feelings about Loba. While fighting against DUMMIEs walking through the smoke with the P2020, Bangalore recalls how the thief flirted with her and asking her for a date, then she would recall the day when stayed in the hospital about she said that she and Loba were just friends.

Later on, in the Paradise Lounge, Anita would ask Loba for advice about flying all the way to Gridiron. Loba hesitated at first considering the time it would take. When the thief finds out that Revenant would taker her in, she gets angry. Recalling the night at the hospital in Olympus, Loba tells Bangalore that they were never "just friends". Despite Bangalore's protest, feeling like things worked out better for Loba, the thief would angrily tell Anita she doesn't know what's best for everyone, including herself, and departs the bar. Revenant would later enter the bar, asking Anita if she's still in. With all her bridges burned, she agreed to his offer.

Before she would make her departure, Anita would pay a final visit to the crash site of IMS Hestia-01 at Storm Point. Taking out a case of beer, she drinks a bottle, then throws the bottle cap at the sea as her last Williams send-off, saying her final goodbye to Jackson, telling him he doesn't have to find his way home as he's already there.

During her supposed last match in the Apex Games, she met her intended replacement, a fighter under the name of Newcastle, which both soon found out will be squad up for the match. Upon landing on Stormpoint, the duo are forced to fight off a swarm of Spectres as well as a large aquatic beast. After the battle, Bangalore went to meet with Newcastle, who was recovering against a rock and hiding a bottlecap bracelet. She approached him and removed his helmet, confirming her belief that he was her brother, Jackson.

Season 13: Family Secrets

After the conclusion of an Apex Games match, Bangalore strikes up a conversation to Jackson near the IMS Hestia-01 crash site, and tries to convince him to leave the Outlands to Gridiron together. Jackson refuses, saying that Harris Valley needs him as Newcastle. This sparked a heated argument between the two siblings, before Jackson claimed that "Jackson is dead", and stated they both found a family in the Outlands, he's just the only one he sees it. Shocked and baffled that her brother chooses strangers over his family, Bangalore decided to trail Newcastle.

Unknown to the Williams Siblings, Wraith and Mirage overheard part of the argument. After discovering Newcastle is sending his winnings to an unknown party, Wraith and Mirage begin to have their suspicions about Newcastle, considering how Bangalore was supposed to leave the Outlands, as well as his sudden increased skill level after failing the qualifier 39 times. Therefore, the duo hitch a plan to find out who's behind Newcastle's persona. Mirage suggested they go to the Paradis Lounge bar and ask some visitors from Harris Valley for info. Later on, in the Paradise Lounge, Mirage conversed with a mercenary who works for the Forgotten Families, who reveals the Forgotten Families are made up of ex-IMC personnel from various divisions. Upon catching the mercenary talking about IMC deserters, Wraith confronts the mercenary to ask what Forgotten Families do with IMC deserters. The mercenary confesses that they hunt down and kill them. Wanting to know more, Wraith finds out that the winnings that Newcastle got is gonna be sent on the same day after the match. Believing that Bangalore's life is in danger, Wraith and Mirage set out to Harris Valley and track down Newcastle.

Bangalore, and Mirage-Wraith duo arrived at Harris Valley separately. Bangalore was being told off to leave the town, as Harris Valley is founded by refugees from IMC; however, she continue her trailing of Newcastle. The three Legends soon arrived in the outskirts of Harris Valley and sneak near an abandoned warehouse, where the Forgotten Families are having a meeting with Newcastle. As the three Legends eavesdrop, Medraut addresses Newcastle by his real name, "Jackson", and explains he found out through contact who witnessed a fight Jackson was involved in Storm Point. This surprises Wraith, who now knew why Bangalore stayed in the Outlands, which makes her question why Bangalore didn't tell her.

Seeing Jackson takes his leave, Bangalore tries to follow, but she gets spotted by one of the gang's mobsters. With no choice, Bangalore instigates a fight and pops her smoke to conceal herself into cover. While in cover, Bangalore finds that Wraith and Mirage are here, which causes tension as she doesn't want these two involve in her personal business. Wraith tries to reason with her, so Bangalore defuses the conversation and the trio agree to fight together. Adding more to Wraith's confusion, the void's voices began to behave erratically, which makes Wraith question what the voices are trying to tell her.

A mercenary brought out a gatling gun, which prompted the three legends to scatter. Due to tight quarters, they find themselves far from coordinated with each other, and thus find it difficult to fight off the Forgotten Families goons. Wraith was then attacked by a merc with a glowing gauntlet, but things takes a turn when the merc herself recognizes Wraith as Dr. Blasey. Trembling in fear, the merc pleads Wraith to leave her alone.

Implored by the voices from the void, Wraith leaves the merc and catches up to Mirage, and together they decided to help out Bangalore. The tension between Wraith and Bangalore grow further, with Blasey questioning Anita over how long Jackson's survival being kept secret despite mutually making promises to help each other. Despite Wraith and Mirage's justification for trying to help, Bangalore wouldn't hear of it, believing that she's the only one who should be involved in her family affairs. This upsets Wraith, arguing with Bangalore about of the deal they made together over finding their own missing pasts, and how Bangalore didn't fulfill her end of the bargain. Bangalore brushes it off, believing that no one bothered to look up about Wraith despite being in the Apex Games. In the end, the argument was stopped by Mirage. As Bangalore storms off the warehouse, Mirage tries to encourage Wraith about finding more leads of her past.

After Bangalore stormed off the warehouse, she tried to search for Jackson in Harris Valley to no success, while musing about all the recent events involving Jackson, wondering if the gang has dirt on him that forced him to stay in hiding for 13 years, as well as wondering why Jackson cares more for Harris Valley over his family.

Wraith would catch up to Bangalore by herself, telling her about a community party at Harris Valley, and that Jackson might be there. Wraith also wanted to apologize for getting heated during the argument and asks Bangalore if she wants to tag along. Bangalore apologizes to Wraith and accepts Wraith's request, and they eventually arrived at the party. Looking around, Bangalore feels a little nostalgic seeing the occasion as it reminded her of home. Eventually, the two would spot Jackson in the party, having a chat with a local who refers to him as Lamont. While Wraith was surprised that Jackson is known as Lamont, what surprised Bangalore more is seeing the toddler girl wearing a birthday crown and a teenage boy coming up to him. Realizing that Jackson has literally found a new family in the Outlands, Bangalore decided to leave, stating The Williams puts family first.

A while later, Wraith visits Mirage in his bunk on the dropship after being asked by him. They discuss Bangalore and Newcastle, then Mirage rambled a bit about Jackson, so Wraith shuts him up with a sharp look. To get his point across, Mirage gives her a folder he took from the Forgotten Families, which has ARES Division logo on it. Within it is the information of the mercenary that recognized her as Dr. Blasey dubbed "Subject 0" - as well as the fact of the Project Leader is Renee H. Blasey...

Seer's Interview

Obi Edolasim was invited to an interview with Lisa Stone of Outlands TV. The interview starts out well, with Edolasim giving his reasoning for his moniker "Seer". However; things take a sharp turn when Stone uses the opportunity to divert from the agreed-upon questions and attempt a character assassination against the Legend, citing polls and respondents from Boreas airing grievances against him by claiming he mainly spouts inspirational phrases, all to paint Seer as uncaring towards the deteriorating conditions of his homeworld.

Seer was distraught and left the interview disappointed. After his departure, Stone would speak positively of Silva Pharmaceuticals in their supposed philanthropic efforts to better the Outlands, implying that Torres Silva had a hand in changing the interview's questions

Season 14: Friends Like These

Main article: Friends Like These

Mirage set up his party with only by himself and five of his decoys. He muses over hurt he is that his friends Wraith, Rampart, and Pathfinder didn't bother showing up. As he tries to cancel the party, he gets startled by Vantage being here this whole time. The two discuss their differences, with Vantage being blunt towards Mirage a few times during their talk. Mirage becomes aware of Vantage's lack of social skills, especially when she admits she had trouble finding people to talk about her mother's imprisonment. Thus, Mirage recommends the young hunter to go and try to make friends with the Legends. In addition, he also subtly requests her to pay a visit to his friends and find out why they didn't showing up to his party. Vantage agrees and sets on her way.

Wattson and Mila

Wattson was busy fixing the communications unit in her room when she gets startled by Vantage, who came in hoping to make friendship. During their brief conversation; Vantage noticed the pictures of her with Wraith on the desk, and pried into Wattson's secrets, including her relationship with Caustic and Crypto. While getting defensive, Wattson accidently knocks over a bowl of cereal and the milk spills over the comms unit, causing a short circuit to the device, allowing it to be activated and connect to Mila Alexander. Concealing the briefcase, Wattson pushes Vantage away from her room. Conversing with Mila, Wattson was told not to tell Crypto about the conversation nor tell him the device has been repaired.

Mila clarifies that the Syndicate is growing more powerful with Torres Silva leading it and she's working with the organization to find who framed her brother. And if Crypto were to find out about this, it'd put a target on his back and get himself and his sister killed. Mila wishes to keep this a secret and wants Wattson to keep it that way,

Wattson reluctantly accepts, to Mila's gratitude. She has last minute regrets due to the secrets she's been keeping for a while are making her feel overwhelmed, but the conversation ends with Mila disconnecting the line before Wattson could say anything, leaving her distressed.

Rampart and Seer

In Boreas, things are heated with mass protests ongoing speaking up loudly against the deteriorating conditions of the planet. Rampart, while wearing disguise, witnesses the protestors defacing a poster of Seer along with his logo, worried that the crowd got to him. Seer catches up to her in a flashy disguise and the two discuss the current situation. Seer wishes to face the protestors directly and speak to them, though Rampart is against it given how angry the crowd is. Seer clarifies that by revealing himself to the public, his people would see him for who he is, not what a reporter's slander paint him as.

The two Legends converse, with Rampart believing that its a lost cause and sometimes people need a place to vent. When she mentions the Apex Games, Seer got an idea: The Games could be expanded to Boreas as a way to help the people and grow the local community economically and socially. Rampart is apprehensive, given the idea needs to be talked with "Eduardo" Silva, who isn't known for altruism. Seer is still resolute in his desire to help his homeland, as he doesn't want his people think he doesn't care that Boreas is dying.

Vantage enters the conversation with the two Legends unannounced by saying Seer is right. During the conversation, Vantage clarifies her stance and says that both Legends are right and consults on the situation by asking them if they're gonna "skip on each other's party" like they did with "the last one"

Seer understood this that friendship requires compromise and thanks Vantage for the reminder. He tells Rampart that he will not reveal himself to the public, but he will talk to "Duardo" Silva about bringing the Apex Games to Boreas. Vantage asks Seer to be her friend, which he accepts. Rampart also accepts, though she was in a hurry to leave and muses to herself whether Boreas wants help from Seer and is confused at what party was Vantage talking about.

Fuse and Bloodhound

On Talos, Fuse helps Bloodhound and their people packing up supplies to settle somewhere safe while the planet teeters to near collapse due to Hammond's greed. When Fuse gives advice to Bloodhound on picking up the crate through the back without bending the knee, Vantage enters the conversation unannounced by telling them that's terrible advice, startling Fuse. She explains that picking up the crate while bending the knee is important to keep the back healthy

Fuse asks Vantage if she understands banter, with Bloodhound explaining it as a way for close friends to have conversation with each other. Vantage finds the answer vague, due to lack of close friends. She came in hopes to make friends with both Legends, explicitly telling them what Mirage told her - Caring about other people's problems is the first step to making friends. Fuse gives some advice to the young hunter, starting off by telling her to not listen to anything Mirage says. He explains there's more to friendships than caring about each other's problems - It's about engaging with one another, sharing a beer during the rough times, and never giving up on each other.

Vantage finds it puzzling, noting how Fuse pretends he doesn't know Maggie, asking him if he gave up on her. Fuse denies it, claiming he "never gave up on Mags". Bloodhound attempts to explain what friendship in their own way, though Vantage interrupts by saying she's looking for friendly friendships, not the romantic one that Fuse and Bloodhound have. Fuse doesn't deny it, though Bloodhound does out of embarrassment, leaving the Salvonian to indulge them. Despite the denial, Vantage is aware both Legends were flustered regarding their feelings for one another.

Vantage is grateful for their time, learning more about the two Legends and asks them to be her friends. They accept, though they awkwardly try to get back to their work in packing up the supplies. Vantage notes the banter in that moment, and asks them to come to her future parties as she doesn't want her party as sad, clingy, and friendless as Mirage's

As she leaves, Fuse and Bloodhound become confused, with the latter expressing surprise that Mirage had a party.

Loba and Jaime

Loba met Vantage for dinner in restaurant, helping the young hunter to make friends. However, Vantage lacking proper attire and Echo's behavior caused them to be kicked out from the establishment, upsetting Loba. While Loba makes her way to Kairi's apartment, Vantage was still trailing her. Loba confronts the young hunter about the behavior she caused in the restaurant, believing it made her look weak. She also explains to the young Legend about the dangers of her work and why she doesn't involve her friends in it.

Vantage expresses her confusion about the different things needed to make friendships that other Legends told her. Loba tells her of the friendship she has with Jaime and the importance of having loyalty and respect in friendships. Loba runs to the apartment building while Vantage tries to earn her respect, locking the door behind her.

Loba enters Kairi's apartment, noticing the lights are off. After switching them back on, she sees Jaime hanging from the fan ceiling, all bloodied and injured. While pulling him out of the ceiling, Loba's phone was ringing. Vantage manages to break in, only to stop at the apartment door. Loba was busy trying to save her friend, so Vantage helps the thief with her phone by answering the call. Valkyrie was on the phone call, so Vantage tells her bluntly about what's going on and hangs up. She then goes to call medical emergency.

Loba tends to Jaime's wounds, while the latter faded in and out of consciousness, barely clinging to life. While she tries to hold her emotions, Loba believes that Revenant is the culprit. Enraged, she promises Jaime that she'll make the simulacrum pay for what he's done.

Valkyrie and Revenant

Valkyrie visits Revenant in one of the underground bunkers at Kings Canyon, hoping to end the feud between Loba and Revenant by speaking with him. As they talk, Valkyrie argues against the simulacrum that he and "Sergeant Stick-in-the-Mud" were supposed to leave the Outlands, yet Revenant keep interfering in Loba's life like a permanent third wheel. Revenant keeps taunting, asking Valkyrie if she's willing to take a 20 year trip to Gridrion to fetch his head.

Valkyrie brings an ace up her sleeve by revealing that she knows a guy who has Revenant's source code and its not at Gridiron at all. Revenant was caught off guard, and demands his source code's whereabouts. Valkyrie cuts a deal with Revenant: If he backs off from Loba, she'll help him in locating the source code and end his life. Furthermore, Loba is in the dark about this deal, which impresses Revenant.

Revenant agrees, though he warns Valkyrie that she can't keep him on a leash and promises he will stay in touch. As he leaves with reverberating laughter, Valkyrie checks her phone to see a message from Loba coming over to her apartment. She calls her, though it was answered by Vantage who tells her that Loba is busy trying to save Jaime, then hangs up.

Valkyrie is distressed, deducing that only reason someone would go to hurt Jaime would be after Revenant's source code. Leaving the bunker through a tunnel with her jet pack, Valkyrie worries that the only chance to save Loba is slipping away.

Mirage and Vantage

In the Paradise Lounge, Mirage tries to make a conversation with a sleeping bar patron named Jim, but that didn't work. He tries to converse with one of his holo-buddies, but its battery was low, so that didn't work either. Meanwhile, Vantage enters the bar and tells Mirage she made friends. He tries to set some levity, though he grows frustrated and feeling he doesn't have any friends and the Legends are too wrapped up in their problems, yet the young hunter manages to bond with them. Vantage tries to cheer Mirage up by telling him he's not as self-obsessed as he likes everyone believe he is and she'll listen to his problems with a smile.

However, Vantage smile fades when a clip shows her on the TV after winning a match. In that clip, She tries to speak out about her mother's imprisonment, but it gets interrupted by the newscaster. Vantage vents in frustration how hard it is to speak to the Outlands about her mother. Mirage gives advice on trying to be more presentable and marketable by showing one of his post-match clips. In that clip, he thanks himself and his mother, which the latter makes it touching to the newscaster. Vantage understood this that she has to play the media's game in order to accomplish her goal.

The topic shifts to Mirage's mother, Evelyn Witt. Mirage opens up about his mom, her dementia and the trouble she has at remembering things. He hopes that showing himself in the Apex Games is how his mother will still remember him. Vantage points out to Mirage that he opened up about his problems, which means he trusts her and considers her a friend. Mirage admits it, though he worries people will not believe it if Vantage tells them about his mother's condition.

All of a sudden, Horizon and Crypto enter the bar for the party. This caught Mirage by surprise, so Vantage mentions that she brought their friends along. Including Wraith, Rampart, and Pathfinder. As more Legends join the party, Mirage gets things on the roll. He asks Pathfinder if he ever got the invites, but it turns out that Mirage forgot to send the invites as Rampart didn't get it either. Mirage admits that he thought his friends didn't like him, though Pathfinder cheers him up and maintains they're still friends.

With the spirit of the party around them, Mirage and Vantage joins the Legends on the dance floor.

Epilogue: A and Z

An encrypted communications link open up where two individuals codenamed "A" and "Z" are discussing their contract. "A" provides the proof of Revenant's source code at their disposal, as well as the status of "Blue-hair". "Blue-hair" is under the care of a hospital at Psamathe with one Legend surrounding him. "Z" demands that "blue-hair" to be eliminated as he's a loose end. "A" justifies they could've killed "Blue-hair", but a certain Legend's arrival cut things short.

As payment is delivered to "A", albeit reduced, "A" begins to muse about how Revenant's source code could open a lot of doors for them, mentioning with the Legend they just talked about would want it, and especially a certain very powerful party. As "A" receives more payment, they request for dirt on their "favorite orphan" as "A"'s "Little Rat" who got the footage of "blue-hair" and the head would want it, or else she'll bite them and then "A" will bite back at "Z". "Z" obliges and uploads a file to A.

"A" confirms to "Z" that the package will be at the drop location by 0300. In the meantime, "A" is busying themselves with Mirage's party, and tells Z that Witt know how to throw a party. "A" says their goodbye to "Z" as a "friend" and leaves the communication link, as well as "Z".

A beast that cannot be tracked

A while later, Bloodhound and Fuse go to a hunting trip to slay a beast. Fuse begins discussing regarding the relationship they have for each other, admitting how even Vantage saw it through. While fighting the beast, Bloodhound becomes increasingly agitated from Fuse's prodding, admitting that they are afraid.

After the beast was killed, Bloodhound confesses to Fuse that they are afraid of losing him like they lost Boone. Fuse tells them that he's not going anywhere and the two embrace and share a kiss.

Season 15: Reflections of The Moon

Seer, Octane and Catalyst return from their Apex Games match to retrieve their winnings, facing against a fenced-off protest putting their anger at Seer's actions by attacking him with cans and debris. One protestor throw a can at Seer, so Catalyst stepped in to shield him. As they enter the Syndicate building, Seer thanked Catalyst for her help, but the latter chews him out for his part in bringing the Apex Games to Cleo. Despite Seer's attempt to explain, Catalyst is still upset at him, believing that he's not taking responsibility for his actions, especially with the fact that bringing the Games to Cleo displaced Catalyst from her home, her community, and her friends. Catalyst then leaves to attend to her friends.

After collecting their winnings, Seer and Octane leave through the rear door to avoid the crowd. While Octane pester him on his way to his parents' home, Seer continually checks his phone's messages, concerned that his mother didn't send him a message after the match. The duo enter to a quiet home, facing a scene of bricks, broken glass, and blood. After further investigation of the house, Seer finds weeks worth of hate messages directed at his parents, blaming them for bringing him to this world and for recent events to happen. However, they find no sign of his parents, so Seer places the blame on the attack on Eduardo Silva's shoulders and wishes to speak to him regarding his parents whereabouts.

After a call from Octane, a meeting was arranged, with "Duardo" Silva sending a limousine to pick them up. They meet Silva at a memorial site in Cleo, where Seer immediately demands Silva to have his parents found, with the latter sending a Syndicate Corps soldier away to complete this task. This did not please the Legend, making him lash out at "Duardo", stating that his lies led to the attack. In response, Silva defends his actions, claiming that the Apex Games brought the much needed media attention and resources to Cleo's deteriorating conditions, and that stabilizing Cleo would eventually end Boreas's problems as well. He also argued that a little chaos in Seer's personal life is worth the price to save his homeworld.

After their argument ended, Seer would be ushered to another limousine by Silva, who asserts that he would him directly to his parents.

The limousine takes Seer to the safehouse where his parents are there. He visits the safehouse, relieved to see his parents are alive and unharmed. However, things take a turn when Seer realizes that his parents were critical of his idea of bringing the Apex Games to Boreas. During their argument, his parents claimed that their son could've done his part in working with the Cleo Recovery Council or rebuilding communities rather than following the grandest ideas first. Perceiving their criticism as lack of support, he lashes out at his parents, believing that they're ashamed of him and of themselves for bringing their son to the world. This caused his mother to cry and his father to politely ask him to leave. Despondent, Seer leaves the safehouse, feeling like his world is falling apart.

A while later, Seer sits on the empty stage of Encore, reflecting how he used to have the love and support from his supporters that has been burned away since his disastrous interview. During his musing, he gets visited by Catalyst. Not wanting to argue, Seer was leaving before he was persuaded by Catalyst to stay and look upon Cleo. The two Legends talk to each other, with Catalyst admitting she doesn't see Seer as a bad person, though he must face the consequences of his actions.

During the talk, they discuss about Cleo, with Catalyst musing that her belief in healing the moon is what kept her going despite its deteriorating state. Seer admits that he made a rash decision in bringing the Games, though he believes that Cleo is getting the resources it needs. Despite his assertion that fixing Cleo could fix Boreas's problems, Catalyst wants nothing to do with the latter. This surprises Seer, though she explains to him that she and other outcasts didn't have the skills and support they could've needed in Boreas and being in Cleo let them be themselves and find community in each other.

Understanding her position, Seer explains that the love that his parents gave to him while growing up kept him going in spite of his homeworld calling him ''cursed''. And knowing there are parents wishing to provide the same gift of love to their children, he wishes to protect that. Reaching a new understanding with each other, both legends shake hands with Seer vowing to do better and Catalyst being there to see it,

Season 16: Weekend Warriors

The year is now 2735, and in celebration, Torres Silva hosts an anniversary celebration for the Apex Games with additional modes.

Gibraltar and Mirage

Gibraltar visits the Paradise Lounge at Solace, feeling frustrated. Mirage curiously asks of what he's going through and the former explains that throughout the day, he had a case of several calls to SARAS calling him for help, only to find out those calls were scams from fans wanting to hang out with him. Gibraltar is frustrated with how his status as Legend is being exploited that he feels he's better ofF retiring from SARAS.

Suddenly, Gibraltar gets a call from help for a sinking incident near Norlock Lake. Although he was skeptical, he accepted when he found the caller's voice familiar. Mirage tags along. The two legends visit the lake and were surprised to find that the call came from Michael Gentile, the son of Gibraltar's ex-boyfriend, Nik, who was clinging to a sinking Trident. Gibraltar rescues Michael and drags him to the shore along with Mirage who clumsily followed him and had trouble swimming.

Michael explains to Gibraltar that he and a couple of friends "borrowed" a fleet of Tridents for joy-riding and Michael wanted to test if Tridents can float in the water, which didn't turn out well. Worrying for his dad, Michael asks the legend to keep it a secret and Gibby accepts the kid's request. After Michael leaves the scene, Gibraltar wonders if he'll see the kid again, but he puts that aside and tags along with Mirage to go on an adventure rescuing fans.

Vantage and Echo

Per Mirage's suggestion, Vantage visits a Zoo in Gaea as her off-day along with Echo. During the visit, she was bothering one visitor by taking some of their buttered popcorn and feeding it to Echo. Seeing the wildlife in many enclosures, Vantage begins to believe that the zoo itself is a prison and those animals should be free. When Vantage calls for Echo, she finds him missing and tries to search for him, finding herself in an altercation with one of the Zookeepers. After being told of a bat cave, Vantage sprints there to find her companion.

Vantage would arrive at the cave, which reminded her of the cold atmosphere aboard GDS Vantage and eventually find Echo in the bat cave, nestling with one of the mother bats. Remembering her time in Pagos, seeing him huddling under the body of his dead mother, Vantage reflects how often Echo is with her due to training him rather than treating him like a pet and realizes her guilt for taking the live of Echo's mother from him. She apologizes to her companion and promises once she frees her mother, she'll free him as well as the other animals in the Zoo. Vantage leaves, but Echo follows her. Despite Vantage's surprise, she tries to tell him that he's free to live how he wishes. That didn't deter Echo as he still wished to be at her side. Overjoyed, Vantage would leave the zoo, but not before grabbing a handful of popcorn from the same person from earlier. The visitor gave Vantage their popcorn as long she left them alone. She thanked the popcorn person and continued about her day.

Reid and Newton

During an Apex Games match set in Olympus, Ash and Pathfinder were under heavy fire as they got hit by Crypto's EMP from his drone. Ash manages to survive it, but her vision is filled with one of her distant memories as Dr. Ashleigh Reid. After finishing a discussion with the Project Iris members, she was visited by Newton Somers who was packing up for his new apartment and getting ready for his internship. The two share a talk, with Newton wanting to give the box that has a nunchaku with engraved black handles to Reid. The young man admits he got inspired seeing her playing with melee weapons and wanted to follow it up like her (albeit with less success).

The conversation turns to a heart-to-heart conversation, where Dr. Reid tries to dissuade Newton from joining the project by arguing that acquiring a new energy source for the Outlands demands sacrifice and she'd seen people sacrifice their lives for pursuit of power. When asked by Newton if she lost someone, Reid confesses that she lost her brother when he was the same age Newton was when his mother ''passed''.

Despite her attempt, Newton Somers was still resolute in joining Project Iris as an intern and bids Dr. Reid farewell. The memory ends with Reid musing that she won't let Newton be a sacrifice.

Back to the present, Ash would find that she and Pathfinder lost the match. She alleviated Pathfinder's worry that she merely had an off-day, but she was rather irritated of her defeat. Ash vows to herself that she'll do what it takes to end ''Leigh'' once and for all, as well as anything that gets in her way.

Out on a Ledge/The Courage of One's Convictions/Jailbreak

Ajay "Lifeline" Che attempted to recruit Bloodhound, Fuse, and Crypto for an operation against the Mercenary Syndicate, though she only succeeded at recruiting Crypto. The two Legends visit a party hosted at Duardo Silva's estate, taking the opportunity to find incriminating information. Using the flash drive from Crypto, Lifeline infiltrates Mr. Silva's room and plugs the drive into his computer, giving Crypto an opening.

Lifeline was forced to cling by the balcony when Silva notices the door was open and set out out to investigate. He got distracted by a diversion from Octane, causing him to reprimand. After they both leave, Lifeline takes the drive and catches up with Crypto, She learns from him that the Syndicate is conducting an off-the-books operation to Salvo. She shares her findings to Mad Maggie at her prison in Malta and her intent to visit Salvo. The warlord tried to dissuade her, telling her that it's dangerous to go there without an accompanying Salvonian - especially for a daughter of the Che family. Lifeline visits Fuse at a bar, requesting passage to Salvo.

While on Salvo, the two were confronted by members of the Cracked Talon. Things go quickly into a shootout, as Cracked Talon are not pleased to see intruders, much less Fuse. To ward off the attackers, Lifeline called in a Care Package, stopping the fight and crushing Mouth, a Cracked Talon mercenary, beneath the rubble. Moving to heal his injuries, Lifeline was called soft by Mouth, stating that ''playing savior'' wouldn't get information out of anyone. In response, Lifeline ripped D.O.C away from the merc, hurting him. Though Fuse was shocked by the act, Lifeline managed to get a name from Mouth - Skudge, who was supposedly an old associate of Fuse. However, Fuse leaves before explaining things, telling Lifeline that she's crossing lines she can't come back from. Mouth warns the medic that she has little time to find Skudge with the Syndicate nearing completion on their work at Salvo and that she'd best make her decision with conviction.

Later on, Lifeline reports back to Mad Maggie at her prison about the name 'Skudge'. Maggie calls the name a dead end and states to Lifeline that without her help, she'd be running toward her death. In response, Lifeline disabled the security cameras and knocked out a guard, allowing Maggie to get out of her cell. While on their way out, the two were confronted by the warden, who Maggie quickly incapacitated. She then turned to Lifeline, knocking a tooth out of her mouth, to make it seem the medic was trying to stop her. With their backup awaiting them, the two depart for Salvo.

An Old Nemesis

At her shop after hours, Rampart was tinkering with the Nemesis Burst AR, trying to figure out how it works. She was visited by Frances and got into an irate argument. Frances tried to offer the Legend a place back to The Sisters, which had since became legitimate business, stating that Big Sister sees Rampart as a potential asset. And having seen her working on the Nemesis, she additionally offered to reveal secrets with the Nemesis' completed design. However, Rampart angrily refused and tells Frances that she and Big Sister can shove their offer.

After Frances departs the shop, Rampart continues working on the Nemesis, only for the weapon to explode in her face.

Season 17: What's Past Is Prologue

After finding out his son Nathaniel Phua was qualified for Apex Game, Ballistic made a deal with Torres Silva to place him in Apex Games instead of Nathaniel. While the deal went through, it earned Ballistic the ire of his son, resulting in Nathaniel publicly display his anger during a media event.

One night, Torres Silva bypassed the security in the Brinkman estate, wishing to speak with Ballistic in his lounge. After dissuading Ballistic's instinctual threat of violence, Silva asked Ballistic how far he would go to protect his son. Recounting his efforts to save Eduardo's life, the two spoke about the troubles of fatherhood. Silva then left, revealing his true identity and thanking Brinkman for giving him the strength for what is to come.

Kill Code

After Lifeline recruited Loba for their trip the Salvo, they, along with Mad Maggie, visited a bar in Salvo that was operated by a contact of Maggie. After intimidating him and asking for Torres's whereabouts, Skudge directed them to an old Hammond Robotics armored bunker nearby.

Breaking in with Loba's help, the trio found several deactivated Specters and a console, on which Che found information about several similar locations across the Outlands. While Lifeline utilized a drive obtained from Crypto in an attempt to download the information, Loba was distracted by a pile of parts in a corner, which led to a console. Activating the console, she was sent deeper into the facility. Navigating through various vents, collasping walkways, and makeshift ziplines, she realized it was similar to the former Reverant facility that was previously under Skulltown of Solace, and they were making something in here. Reaching the Researce Site B, she discovered an encased Simulcarum hand and a Hammond Datapad that allows her to connect to Hammond's Node Network and unlocked deeper parts of the facility, until she reached the core containing Reverant's Source Code, where the console indicated "TRANSFER COMPLETE". Opening up the container, she discovered it was now empty, except for an inactive head of Reverant.

In her anger, she slammed the console's keyboard, which activated the facility's security systems, activating the Specters and requiring the three to fight their way out of the facility, escaping just before the doors locked themselves. Once outside, the three found themselves pinned down by the Specters, which were working to break through the door and continue their attack. The three were quickly rescued by Valkyrie, allowing them to regroup and deliver the downloaded information to Crypto. However, Loba had grabbed a treasure of her own on the way out - an eye from one of Revenant's bodies. As the data is incompleted, the legends discreetly head to various designated area in the Apex Arenas to upload codes to Crypto, so he can hack into Hammond's server and fetch the relevant data. Eventually, the four regrouped at PIX3L Internet Cafe, where Crypto successfully decrypted the content of the data drive. With his main task done, Loba requested that Crypto's help to extract data from Revenant's eyes. Unknown to them, they were observed throught CCTV by Mila Alexander and Torres Silva.

As the Legends entered Crypto's workspace, Crypto explained what they had pulled on Salvo was the code for Hammond's safety protocol, which is used on transporters to move important assets; this made the group realized that both Hammond and Torres are after the same thing. With a peek on Revenant's eye, Loba realized that Hammond and Torres is after Revenant's head, and revealed the armor bunker is actually a Revenant factory. She further tells the others that she had made sure the head was sent away (unknowing that Jimmy kept the head, which in turn was stolen by Torres' agent). Lifeline and Maggie realized that by having the head, Torres can control Revenant, and the purpose is not good, such as turning him into his own personal assassin. Unfortunately, Crypto is unable to find out where the head is currently, except that it has travelled around a lot. Realizing that they still need to find Revenant's head, the four ladies left the room to find clues for the head, leaving Crypto alone. Suddenly, Revenant burst in with a new chassis and lifted Crypto up by his neck, angrily asking what is going on with himself. The simulacrum was quickly apprehended by the Legends, and Mad Maggie was brought up to speed regarding the story behind Loba and Revenant's feud. Lifeline stated that the fact that Durado was involved indicated the need to destroy the head, which quickly raised an objection from Loba, as she desired Reverant to stay alive and suffer. Over her objections, the Legends worked out a truce with Revenant to infiltrate the Hammond Robotics facility in Malta, where his source code was currently kept.

Disguising themselves as Hammond Robotics employees delivering a Revenant chassis, they were quickly discovered after Lifeline's cover was blown, and they joined forces with the other Legends to fight their way out of the facility and attempted to destroy the source code, which is made more difficult not just from a summoned horde of Spectres and a Reaper, but also from a now-enraged Loba. Eventually, the Legends managed to subdue the security force, including the Reaper. While Loba try to take Revenant's source code from the rest of the group, they were interuptted by Torres Silva using Loba's still-active Black Market Boutique staff to acquire Revenant's head. With a taunt from Silva, the Syndicate leader departed in his transport, leaving Loba shout back in frustration
