- ↑ Shotgun damage is calculated per pellet.
Correct: 15dmg/pellet x 1.25 = 18.75dmg/pellet ≈ 19dmg/pellet, resulting in 57 damage total.
Incorrect: 45dmg x 1.25 = 56.25 ≈ 56 damage total.
- Fortified head shot damages may vary ±3. This is due to uncertainty over whether Fortified reduces non rounded or rounded damage numbers. This difference is negligible on non pellet based weapons.

Pros and Cons[]
Pros
- Similar magazine capacity to Mastiff and Peacekeeper, and like the Peacekeeper, can reload all of its shells at once.
- Good damage if Hammerpoint Rounds are attached.
- Like the P2020, is free in Arenas.
- Shares the same upgrade costs as the P2020.
- Will fire from the hip automatically unlike other shotguns.
Cons
- Small pellet spread and only has three pellets.
- Relatively slow fire-rate without Shotgun Bolts.
- Low damage output without Hammerpoint, and can take an entire magazine to down a player.
Skins[]
There are a total of 12 skins for the Mozambique Shotgun: 1 Legendary, 2 epic, 7 Rare, and 3 Common.
Trivia[]
- The name and triangular pellet pattern of the Mozambique Shotgun is a reference to the Mozambique Drill technique of shooting someone twice in the chest and once in the head.
- Requesting optics for the Mozambique will result in the Legend asking for pistol optics, instead of shotgun ones, despite the weapon being classified as a shotgun.
