Repulsor, or Repulsor Station, is a location on the Southeast of Kings Canyon.
Gameplay[]
The Repulsor Tower contains both a Survey Beacon and a Ring Console. It should be noted that only the buildings on the east side of the location have High Tier loot, and those on the western half have Mid Tier loot.
Lore[]
The Repulsor Tower on Kings Canyon was installed to make the island suitable for use as an arena for the Apex Games. Based on the tower used on the planet Leviathan, it emitted a high-pitched frequency to repel the hostile local wildlife, such as Flyers and Leviathans.
In 2733, as part of a revenge plot against the Mercenary Syndicate, the hacker Tae Joon Park, who had been framed for the murder of his foster sister, destroyed the Repulsor Tower by detonating an EMP. Without the tower to protect the island, Flyers and Leviathans swarmed Kings Canyon, making the island temporarily unsuitable for use as an arena. As a result, Apex Games matches on Kings Canyon were suspended and the Syndicate was forced to temporarily relocate to a new site on Talos, World's Edge.
