A season is a predetermined period of time in Apex Legends where a new set of content is released. Seasons typically last for three months.
Each season comes with major balance changes, a new Battle Pass and cosmetics, a new Legend, and sometimes a new weapon. Starting with Season 2, seasons coincide with Ranked Leagues, rotate fully kitted weapons, and make significant map changes (or add a new map). Starting with Season 5, seasons also have Quests.
