The second season of Apex Legends, called Battle Charge, started on July 2nd, 2019 and ended on October 1st, 2019.

New airdrop weapon: the L-STAR EMG^[1]

- Extended Energy Mags.
- Disruptor Rounds for the Alternator SMG and the RE-45 Auto.
- Hammerpoint Rounds for the P2020 and the Mozambique Shotgun.
First major map update to Kings Canyon:
- Flyers and Leviathans inside the map.
- Several areas destroyed by the leviathans and the EMP, including Repulsor, Cascades, Bridges, and River's End.
- New structure, The Cage, built on the hill above Bridges.
- The Shattered Forest replaced with the Nesting Grounds, having grown new vegetation.
- Several new structures added around the Destroyed Bridges, River Central, Nesting Grounds, the hills west of The Farm, and a large compound at the Cascades called Creature Containment.
New game mode: Ranked Leagues
New cosmetic types: Skydive Emotes, Loading Screens, and Music Packs
