The ninth season of Apex Legends, called Legacy, started on May 4th, 2021 and ended on August 3rd, 2021.

New Content[]

New Legend: Valkyrie
New weapon: the Bocek Compound Bow
New game mode: Arenas
- Featuring two new Arenas-only maps: Party Crasher and Phase Runner
Several changes to Olympus:
- Replacing Crossroads, The Icarus is a large vessel between Bonsai Plaza, Solar Array, and Orbital Cannon.
- The Icarus Bridge, which requires a keycard to enter. The keycard can be found anywhere on the ship.
- Removed the Jump Towers at Golden Gardens and Orbital Cannon Test Site. Reduced the height of the balloons at Solar Array and Energy Depot.
New loot:
- Arrows, a new ammo type for the Bocek Compound Bow
- Deadeye's Tempo hop-up for the Sentinel and Bocek Compound Bow
- Shatter Caps hop-up for the 30-30 Repeater and Bocek Compound Bow
New cosmetic type: Ground Emotes
