Shadow Royale

Shadow Royale is a Limited Time Mode introduced in Season 6's Fight or Fright Themed Event.

In this game mode, the Announcer is Shadow Revenant.

Details

Players

• Twenty teams of three Legends compete against each other.
• Legends cannot be respawned.

Gameplay

The goal of Shadow Royale is surviving, killing enemy players if necessary.

• Gameplay is the same as Play Apex.
• If a Legend dies, they become a Shadow.
  • Shadows have 65 health, a melee attack that deals 50 damage per hit and instantly destroys doors, increased movement speed, and can wallrun and double jump. They also cannot loot anything, can revive Bleeding Out teammates, and can perform Finishers on Bleeding Out enemies to fully heal themselves.
  • Shadows emit a constant loud, eerie noise, which can be heard to acknowledge their position even when they're standing still.
  • Shadows keep respawning automatically after dying as long as there's at least one member of the squad who isn't a Shadow. Once the last non-Shadow member dies, the squad is eliminated.

Winning

• The last team that survives wins.
