Shields are a buffer that absorb damage before a legend starts losing health. Shields are gained by equipping a Body Shield Body Shield, which grants the player anywhere from 2-4 bars (depending on rarity) or an Evo Shield Evo Shield, which grants 2-5 bars (depending on the Evo stage); each bar absorbs 25 points of damage.
