Stories from the Outlands are a series of animated featurettes about the lore of Apex Legends.
Starting with 
Season 2 and with the exception of 
Season 16, one is released before the start of each season that introduces the next Legend. Meanwhile, longer Stories from the Outlands are released sparingly; they are usually accompanied by events and Town Takeovers.
