Skins[]
I am intending on adding character skins with images and possibly weapon skins but before I do that I was wondering if mabey we should have a icon on the front page specifically for skins or if we want to keep them localized under the characters and weapons. Just a thought.
Update: I now see that some characters like bloodhound do have skins listed and shown while others do not, and then there are certain legends like mirage who have all their voice lines already. So I don't know if those people want to continue doing that or if they would mind if I did it for them — Preceding unsigned comment added by Techylane (talk • contribs) at 13:37, 17 February 2019 (UTC). - User:Tueman has largely been getting the skins so far, so you could chat with them if you want to talk about that. User:Zycarite got the voice lines for Mirage a few days ago, but unfortunately hasn't been seen since. If you want to help out with either, please try to keep the style, including file names and file categories, consistent with how they already are.

Battle Pass link[]
Could we add a link to the battle pass page in the Gameplay section? I feel like a lot of people are gonna be coming to this wiki looking for info on it. Jockshocker (talk) 01:14, 23 March 2019 (UTC)
- Added the Battle Pass to the Gameplay section :)

Unable to edit.[]
I can't edit some pages in this wiki.I want to write in Bloodhounds page that their scan stays permanently on traps and nodes until their destroyed and that Pathfinder has extra crosshairs which are used to tell him if he can use his grapple. It still lets me edit other legends and pages. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.167.150.13 (talk • contribs) at 15:57, 25 July 2019 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
- Pathfinder and Bloodhound's pages are protected due to some issues in the past. You need to be an autoconfirmed user to be able to edit these pages. That basically means you need to be registered on Gamepedia, have your account a few days old and/or have a certain (how many I don't know) edits under your account.

BP / Seasons[]
I would like to suggest the creation of a page for Seasons (and Promotion) only. Right now it is within the Battle Pass page, which is weird since BPs are only part of the season's in-game content. L0D5 (talk) 23:01, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
- The Seasons are under the Battle Pass page since Seasons are just the time a certain Battle Pass is available for completion. There wouldn't be that much in the way of content for a Season/Promotion page that can't just be put under the respective season or on the Battle Pass page too.
Metafysika (talk) 07:34, 6 May 2020 (UTC)- I disagree, even EA's site has it in different tabs. Also, to get to some specific season you have to click on BP, search in it for the link to the season you want and then click it, is time wasting and counterintuitive but ok. L0D5 (talk) 20:06, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
- Need an admin to confirm but I'm almost 100% sure the individual seasons get much more views than the battle pass page because they're linked everywhere. Lightning laxus (talk) 20:28, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
- I bet they do, but not from the Main Page. That must be confusing for someone new here, maybe consider adding a "Seasons" shortcut in the Main Page as a link to apexlegends.gamepedia.com/Battle_Pass#Seasons. L0D5 (talk) 23:26, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
- Added a link to Seasons from the Main Page.

- Now with Season 5, seasons also coincide with the Ranked Leagues and Season Quests, not just the Battle Pass. I think it warrants its own page. Lightning laxus (talk) 20:07, 13 May 2020 (UTC)

3030 Repeater ROF/RPM is Off. I did the work to fix it and a few days later, back to what it was[]
Okay 3rd attempt to avoid "Inapropriate" language (should fix that spelling)
Straight to the point..
3030 RPM or ROF is off, really really really off. The dps is therefore also off. The ads movement speed is "-%". My suspicions led me to use slow motion video and measure the actually numbers at +/- 5%, I also measured DPS and ROF for charging the 3030 every shot. I edited the page maybe a week ago (RPM, DPS, and ADS Movement) on 3030 page and on Weapons. My edit has since been deleted putting the incorrect, incredibly incorrect numbers back for thousands and thousands of players to read, believe, and use in their gameplay when what they believe is not actuality.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Wolfgineer (talk • contribs) at 06:39, 28 February 2021. I would highly recommend this site that stands only on credibility to attempt to put the right information on their site. If need be, I will find the time to do it for you as I did quickly a week ago and officially put it in a post.
- Hello, I assume I've been the one making the changes you are talking about. I made the calculations with the information DIRECTLY from the game files, where the fire rate is listed at 3.85 RPS. Here's a screenshot from the actual file: https://i.imgur.com/g1UtEX7.png
I haven't touched the ADS movement scale though so you could check the article history for who reverted it. The correct info for that is also listed on the screenshot I linked.

Anyway, afdskjfdakslfjdasfjdsal;fjaksddahgadsjghadjdkalsfjdaslfjdakldfjasdfaadf. Most (almost all actually) of the weapon stats on this site are wrong. I've been avoiding fixing them because of the sheer amount of workload required for such a job. If you're willing to help, that's great.
All of weapon stats can be found in the game's files. However, what caused this mix-up is that Metafyska did not consider the fact that the 30-30 has a rechamber time. (The Sentinel's fire rate is 3.1 but it has a rechamber time of 1.6. The Sentinel obviously doesn't fire 3.1 times per second...except that one time a bug removed the rechamber time.)
That said, can you do me a favor? Can you measure the delay between firing for the 30-30, PK, and Sentinel? I want to see how the fire rate and rechamber time statistics interact in the game. Lightning Laxus (talk) 14:51, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
Pages regarding common strategies[]
Should we have pages that talk about how to do some movement techniques, such as wall jumping or tap strafing? Robadomdom123456 (talk) 02:09, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
- Use this one: --> How to play guide for Apex Legends <-- Lightning Laxus (talk) 03:10, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
- Why not have individual pages dedicated to things like tap strafing? Other wikis that revolve around a certain game also have pages dedicated to widely used strategies. Robadomdom123456 (talk) 03:19, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
- If you want to crate a separate page for advanced tips (akin to How to play guide for Apex Legends/Game terms), you could. But I don't think that's necessary. More pages = harder/more tedious to find. Lightning Laxus (talk) 03:31, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
- I feel like a page like "Advanced movement techniques" that catalogues and discusses these techniques could be good. You can make individual pages (and the topic certainly has enough info to warrant one) but I feel like putting them into one page would be better, then just have the individual technique redirect to that page.

Game support link[]
I think we should link "Game Support" to the actual support page instead of it being a troll link to the support Legends. How has this not been done yet?
- Fixed. Thanks for bringing that to our attention.

Legends[]
I feel like for all the legends who are both on the main game & mobile just add all the things for the articles. Instead of like for example: Loba, Loba (character) & Loba (mobile), where it all can just be Loba and everything is all in just in that one article to make it easier for all of us.
Just divide it into sections to make it all easier instead of trying to find it in different articles like with. For example:
Skins
Main Game
Info
Mobile
Info
(The main game title section doesn't need that title but you see my point)

Thoughts about migrating to Wiki.gg?[]
Has any discussion went into looking into moving to Wiki.gg ? Fandom is going nowhere sadly when it comes to injecting ads and videos to the wiki articles. Half your screen is taken up by the top ad banner. Just in June they fired River from the Gamepedia division of the ESports so her bot for all the wikis (like the Esports one https://apexlegends-esports.fandom.com/ ) are dead in the water, nothing has been done on those sites since June.
Fandom firing all of old Gamepedia staff, Gamepedia wikis most likely have 0 say on changes in the future and how the changes affect the wikis (like discussion boards, which they could turn it on default at any given time).
Of course, money isn't an issue at Fandom since they bought GameSpot/GiantBomb/Metacritic and have Fanatical for game revenue, but they still inject countless ads for everyone taking up bandwidth.
Just a thought to maybe have for the future. - Azgoodaz (talk) 04:39, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
- I figure I'll give my two cents here. TL;DR I wouldn't be opposed, but I don't think it's worth it right now, unless wiki.gg does something really impressive, or Fandom does something really egregious
- 1. I'm not loyal to Fandom, but I also really don't care about all the internal politics, and I don't believe in forking out of spite. Wiki.gg looks promising, but it doesn't seem to have a ton that Fandom doesn't have - for the amount of effort this would take, I'd like something more than just a lack of ads.
- 2. Forking requires a coordinated effort by all contributors, and this wiki doesn't have the tight-knit community others do. Half the editors on this wiki aren't even in the Discord server, which is why I'm posting this here. There's a very real chance that some of us end up moving to the new one while the rest just keep editing this one.
- 3. Previously we discussed the possibility of merging with the Titanfall wiki and voted it down on the grounds that both wikis would potentially take a hit to their SEO. Moving to wiki.gg would be even more damaging in that regard; I've yet to see a forked wiki.gg wiki pull ahead of the abandoned Fandom counterpart. I'd like to see some successes in that area before I'd feel confident with wiki.gg.

The latest news tab needs to be updated ASAP[]
The latest news tab hasn't been updated in over three months, and since then nine updates and patches have come out, including a huge seasonal update. Someone needs to get on that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Skyguy246 (talk • contribs) at 21:35, 24 February 2023 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
- Hey there! Just as a note: it's probably best if you suggest it directly to the wiki's admins (Metafysika or Jockshocker) as they may know more on updating the main page. I don't think they get all notifications from messages written here. –ReverieCode 11:52, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
Lifeline&octane lore[]
I thing we should probably update lifeline and Octanes firing range conversation.Lifeline tells octane about the bunny in the firing range. Also in regular trios they have new voice lines.I was reading and noticed that the lifeline octane lore wasn't updated so I was just pointing it out.If I wasn't clear lifeline tells octane about the bunny foot thing and octane cry's and forgives her. In all most of character lore needs to be updated because of all the new voice lines and kill code 3 dropped a couple of days ago too. Example: Valkyrie and revanent There voice lines make more sense when you watch kill code 3
