Move to Warlord/Chaos Theory

We should move the page to Warlord because I changed the original Warlord page to Warlord (disambiguation). This page should be called Warlord. Thanks, TheKittyGuy16 (talk) 16:06, 18 February 2021 (UTC)

An issue I see with moving this page to Warlord is that people who are may be just searching for the Warlord skin suddenly get directed to the event page. As much as possible, we want to make it hard for people who have no idea about datamines/leaks to be able to accidentally find them here. A solution would be that we move this page to "Warlord (event)" and the current "Warlord (disambiguation)" back to "Warlord". If so, that would also be the time to rename the Voidwalker, The Old Ways and Fight Night events to one with (event) in it for consistency.

Honestly, just delete this page. Never was a fan of making pages of leaked/unannounced stuff, and the person who made this page wasn't even confident on "Warlord" being the name of the event. As for whether or not "(event)" should be added to events, events have far more relevance than a disambig of cosmetics ever will. It's silly to prioritize the latter. • As for whether this page should have even been made, I personally think that it shouldn't have been due to the name of the actual event still being up in the air. Regardless, the information on the page is based on what we have from the usual sources and the DatamineNotice template has made it clear that it may change. That said, we won't be deleting this page unless this wiki's stance on datamined content changes.
  • It's not an issue of relevance but with discoverability, there wasn't that much of an issue with the other events as we could easily point them to the right direction if they weren't looking for the event with a disambig notice at the top, we were able to safely prioritize the event over the cosmetics disambig. With unannounced content like this, we need to be careful with naming so that people won't accidentally find it. We can't just chuck a disambig notice on it and call it a day.
Adding (event) to it could be a temporary solution if the community doesn't want to do it to the rest, and if it turns out that it really is called Warlord once officially announced, then we deal with it the same way we dealt with Voidwalker and others like it.
I propose then that we return "Warlord (disambiguation)" to "Warlord", move this page to "Warlord (event)" and then just deal with it the same way we did with Voidwalker when it gets officially released.

If you're going to temporarily rename this page just to rename it later, just leave it be for now. Lightning Laxus (talk) 07:42, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
"Chaos Theory" is now inofficially confirmed as the name for the event by Respawns official description on the Champions Edition for Nintendo Switch, as you can see on Targets Website for example (https://www.target.com/p/apex-legends-champion-edition-nintendo-switch/-/A-82215061). So I suggest, we can rename the page to "Chaos Theory"(?) Kind regards! Crusadermaster (talk) 19:55, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
I would say keep the name of the article “Warlord Collection Event” for now and then change it when we have the official announcement. Makes sense when to release it as Aftermarket and Crossplay were also released at the same time. I also put a {{Move|Chaos Theory}} template (used to be move warlord) on the page. The event is officially known as the Chaos Theory event Robadomdom123456 (talk) 00:04, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
