The Triple Take is a triple-barreled marksman rifle that utilizes Supply Drop Energy Ammo Supply Drop Energy Ammo. It shoots 3 projectiles in one shot, one at the center and two to its sides, whose spread can be reduced while aiming down sights when using the choke fire mode.

Being a Supply Drop Weapon, it can only be found in Care Packages, and cannot be equipped with foreign ammo. It comes pre-equipped with 63 backup ammo, an Extended Energy Mag Extended Energy Mag, and a 2x-4x Variable AOG 2x-4x Variable AOG scope.

Pros and cons

Pros
  • High damage.
  • Fast projectile speed.
  • Low projectile drop.
  • Fires 3 projectiles in a horizontal spread, which provides a higher chance of damaging evasive targets.
  • Uses exclusive ammo which does not take up inventory space.
  • Good hipfire allows for the weapon to be used as a shotgun in close range.
Cons
  • Damage is split over 3 projectiles.
  • Fully choked shots are required for maximum damage at long range, which reduces the fire rate.
  • Only 63 reserve ammo (or 7 reloads) is available per Triple Take, forcing a weapon change upon depleting all of it.

There are a total of 63 weapon skins for the Triple Take: 14 Legendary, 9 epic, 24 Rare and 16 Common.

Bugs

  • Since the Season 9 May 04, 2021 Patch, all Supply Drop Weapons, including the Triple Take, are marked as weapons that utilize Light Rounds Light Rounds and therefore, that ammo type is marked as compatible in the inventory despite not being true. Requesting ammo by pinging the weapon requests Light Rounds, plus when the Triple Take automatically reloads thanks to the Extended Energy Mag Extended Energy Mag, the Light Rounds icon appears.
