Lore[]
“ | The Flatline is a standard and beloved civilian firearm, used throughout the Frontier against predators of all species. Many Militia volunteers brought their personal Flatlines with them when they joined the ranks. Its harsh recoil makes it an inelegant piece of machinery, but its famous reliability and resilience ensure it will always have a place in Frontier life. |
The VK-47 Flatline is the successor to the Frontier War-era V-47 Flatline, although the changes made to the weapon aside from a different grip and a shorter exposed barrel are unknown.
Skins[]
There are a total of 93 skins for the VK-47 Flatline: 27 Legendary, 16 epic, 35 Rare, and 16 Common.

Trivia[]
- The "V" in the weapon's model number means, following what the weapon ID says, "Vinson". Whether or not this means that Vinson Dynamics had contributed in the creation or design of the weapon, or if it's just a reference of the Respawn Entertainment developer of the same name, is unknown.
- The Heavy Metal and Heat Sink skins are weapon mods designed by Rampart, indicated by the presence of a Rampart Mods logo.
